Personal Training Studios
~We emphasize the EARTH in HEARTH in this vortex of our studios because this is where we cultivate our physical bodies, and they are fractals of this Earth. Here is where earth and the fire innate in hearth coalesce as we bring a focus to the fortification and nourishment of our muscles, tissues, and bones~

Our Vision
The cultivation of our collective power, flexibility, and adaptability is a crucial component to the resilience needed for historically marginalized people in Turtle Island to compost systemic violence into the dreamy worlds we’re working to actualize. Amongst the many tools we will need to move through the collapse of colonial systems, we will need all of us to tap in to the relative levels of strength, focus, discipline, and endurance we can access.
At HEARTH training we reclaim the nuance and complexities of our bodies and we celebrate our messy, beautiful, nonlinear growth processes. We emphasize an approach to training and strength building that is meant to bring healing to the impacts of systemic oppression (white supremacy, capitalism, and ableism), with an emphasis on working with internalized fatphobia and other limiting beliefs.
Our approach is compassionate & rigorous about our wellness, goal driven, iterative, and process centered. We are invited to reclaim our relationships to our physical bodies by remembering their profound capacities (even when our movement is limited), celebrating the ways in which they are unique and always changing. Ultimately we move towards transmuting our wounds to cultivate relationships with our bodies and our communities grounded in acceptance, pleasure, and accountability. Our bodies are divine!
About the Coach
I discovered early on that a type of movement that is rooted in building awareness within the body and its connection to the land can be deeply fortifying to a sense of belonging, joy, and dignity. Movement has taken many shapes in my life: from river rock climbing and dance in my homeland to team sports in grade school to obstacle-race training and boxing in my 20’s to now my most recent chapter of training rooted in power lifting complemented by a yoga and meditation practice.
The work of meeting myself over and over again through movement to feed a sustainable practice has required that I engage with the way dominant systems and structures perpetuate violence onto our bodies by dictating narratives about who is worthy of dignity and belonging in a gym or training space.
I hold certifications as a 200-hr trauma informed yoga teacher (2020) and an ACE Personal Trainer (2023). I weave my passion and joy for helping folks get strong and more agile with my commitment to intergenerational healing and honoring our lineages to my work with clients.
Together we will co-create rigorous and tender spaces where our individual and collective bodies can meet each other with acceptance and care just as we are, creating doorways where we can explore more coherent, rooted, powerful versions of ourselves.
